Say hi to No Fourth dimension to Explicate, an Exotic Pulse Rifle that creates a time portal that fires at enemies with incredible accurateness. With the Stormcaller bracket, you lot can also summon an Arc Soul or "Arc Buddy" to team-shot every enemy that dares arroyo yous. Who needs teammates when you tin can make a weapons platform at will?
Time to kill values are extremely low when your portal and Arc Soul are agile, and you accept admission to a fantastic Super in the grade of Anarchy Reach. If you hate PvP but need to consummate 6v6 weeklies, give this build a endeavour.

Weapon | No Time to Explain |
Attunement of Control (Eye Tree Stormcaller) gives y'all access to a powerful ranged melee, Ionic Traces that grant ability energy for each kill, and one of the best PvP Supers in the form of Chaos Reach. Feel free to use Bottom Tree Stormcaller if y'all're using The Stag. Regardless of subclass, utilize Storm Grenades; they take the lowest cooldown of all three Stormcaller grenades.
Getaway Artist volition exist your Exotic armor piece, allowing y'all to consume your grenade in substitution for a Sentient Arc Soul for 20 seconds. This Arc Soul fires more projectiles more speedily and accurately than a standard Arc Soul. If you're playing Competitive PvP or Trials of Osiris, consider using The Stag instead.

PvP: Necrotic Breach
Why Play This Build?
Heart Tree Voidwalker saw a buff in Flavor of the Lost, making Nova Warp a adept Super while also buffing the charge time immune on Handheld Supernova. Near players know of the synergy between this tree and Contraverse Agree, but there'southward a far more powerful pairing that goes unnoticed: Necrotic Grip.
These gloves allow your melee to ane-shot Guardians in PvP, granting power energy and a small-scale chunk of HP later a kill. You also accept a chargeable grenade that can finish off weakened opponents, giving y'all tons of options for close-range duels. The best office is the poison spreads after a kill, allowing highly aggressive players to articulate out a small group of enemy Guardians with enough skill. It'southward a loftier-take a chance, loftier-reward playstyle that Warlock mains should try at least one time.
Handheld Supernova can yet i-shot Guardians in PvP if they're running towards the grenade on detonation. This is most likely a bug. Until information technology gets stock-still, use Handheld Supernova against Shotgun/Fusion rushers to shut them downwards.
Essentials
Subclass | Attunement of Fission (Eye Tree Voidwalker) |
Exotic | Necrotic Grip |
Weapon | Thorn, Traveler'southward Chosen, or Monte Carlo |
Attunement of Fission (Center Tree Voidwalker) is much stronger this season. PvP: Divine Flame

When Bungie implemented unique power cooldowns with the 30th Anniversary Pack, they gave each grenade a unique cooldown. Dawnblade Warlocks saw a massive cooldown reduction to Firebolt Grenades, allowing them to be used as a catalyst for activating neutral game buffs like Rut Rising.
Turns out Firebolt Grenades are also incredibly strong for activating Divine Protection from Attunement of Flame. This build focuses on reducing your grenade cooldown as much equally possible to give you lot access to a pocket overshield that affects you and any nearby teammates. You'll have incredibly fast ability cooldowns, a counter to Stasis with Well of Radiance, and you'll be helping your squad while using this build. If yous accept multiple members of your team running this build, information technology'll be incredibly difficult to lose.

We'll exist using Firebolt Grenades to reach the shortest cooldown possible to maximize our uptime with this overshield and Chivalrous Dawn.
Since no Exotic is needed to enable this synergy, use any Exotic you lot like. Neutral game powerhouses like Transversive Steps and Ophidian Aspects are highly recommended if you want to enhance your Warlock's neutral game. If y'all want to get a niggling more experimental, Boots of the Assembler and Eye of Another World pair nicely with this build.
Any weapon works here. Use whatever you're most comfortable with or what'southward meta.

PvP: Icarus Dawnblade
Why Play This Build?
Movement separates good players from great players in Destiny's Crucible. Closing the gap and moving with confidence are critical to winning against more than skilled teams, hence why virtually every Warlock in the Crucible plays top tree Dawnblade.
This build utilizes Charged with Calorie-free mods and pop Warlock Exotics to brand you the fastest, deadliest killing car yous can be. If you want to focus more on countering enemies, use the Radiant Chaos build discussed earlier. If you lot want to become an all-out aggressive Guardian that tin can't exist touched, this is the build for you.
Essentials
Subclass | Attunement of Heaven (Top Tree Dawnblade) |
Exotic | Transversive Steps OR Ophidian Aspects |
Weapon | Any weapon |
Attunement of Heaven (Superlative Tree Dawnblade) grants mid-air dashes, perfect in-air accurateness with the Estrus Ascent buff, and you get a decent Super in the form of Daybreak. Angelic Burn is arguably the all-time melee ability for Warlocks as well, damaging targets around cover and from quite a distance.
Transversive Steps and Ophidian Aspects are the best neutral-game Exotics you lot can rock for this build. Nigh argue that Tranversive Steps are better due to their increased dart speed and motorcar-reloading backdrop. Their handling and reload boost are difficult to elevation. Karnstein Armlets are also an excellent choice if yous're OK with sacrificing general buffs for survivability.
One more Exotic we desire to mention is Starfire Protocol. This breast slice grants a second Fusion Grenade. Fusions aren't anything to write home near, simply this allows you lot to activate Heat Rising ii times in a row, allowing for excellent hang time with a Sniper Rifle or other long-range weapons. The outplay potential with this Exotic is too practiced non to mention.
Any weapon can work with this build, but at that place are a few that get a plethora of benefits as a Dawnblade. Specific examples include Dead Man'due south Tale, Sniper Rifles, Felwinter'due south Prevarication, and Mitt Cannons. In essence, if it's meta, it's even better on this build due to Heat Rising.

Why Play This Build?
Bottom Tree Stormcaller got a massive buff in Season of the Lost. Landfall hits like a truck, Arc Soul is stronger than e'er, and the movement speed buff from Electrostatic Surge feels incredible. This build takes all of those elements to the extreme.
Through the apply of Elemental Wells and the new Stasis armor mods, you tin obtain your Super in a matter of seconds, allowing you to finer spam Landfall. With an Arc Soul at your side and infinite Rifts, you'll be able to vaporize every enemy into atoms with little issue.

PvE: Mantle Of Shards
Why Play This Build?
Inspired by Ehroar's 30th Ceremony Stasis build, this build focuses on turning the Shadebinder bracket into the strongest add together-immigration bracket the Warlock has access to. By utilizing the Headstone perk and diverse Stasis Aspects and Fragments, your Warlock will be able to clear entire rooms of enemies with a few bullets.
The sheer power of Shadebinder is and so pushed further with Elemental Wells, Stasis weapons, and the Curtain of Battle Harmony Exotic chest piece. You lot'll accept great oversupply control, brusque Super and grenade cooldowns, and ii abiding impairment buffs.
Essentials
Bracket | Shadebinder (Stasis) |
Exotic | Mantle of Battle Harmony |
Weapon | Eyasluna, annihilation with Headstone |
Shadebinder volition be your bracket. We'll cover Aspects and Fragments in the next section. For your grenade, run Glacier Grenades. Your grenade cooldown will be so short that its base cooldown won't affair, and the buff to Glacier explosions in the 30th Anniversary Pack turned these grenades into the ultimate add-clear tool.
Mantle of Battle Harmony is improve than Verity's Brow in our optics for this detail build. Whisper of Fissures and Elemental Wells already give usa depression power cooldowns, and so this build needs Super regen and damage. Curtain of Battle Harmony kills two birds with one rock, charging your Super faster with Stasis kills or granting a 20% Stasis damage vitrify while your Super is charged.
Eyasluna is easily-down the all-time weapon for this build. It can scroll with Headstone and Unrelenting simultaneously, healing you whenever Headstone kills someone. You lot don't need Unrelenting for Eyasluna to exist skillful; it just needs Headstone. Some proficient alternatives include Vulpecula, Peacebond, and Reed's Regret. Nosotros especially recommend y'all use Reed'southward Regret if you lot have it, as the weapon's DPS skyrockets when all of your buffs are active.
Aspects And Fragments
Aspect | Clarification |
Glacial Harvest | Freezing targets creates Stasis shards around the frozen targets. Higher tier combatants create more shards. |
Iceflare Bolts | Shattering a frozen target spawns seekers that track and freeze other nearby targets. |
Iceflare Bolts is mandatory. This causes Headstone to proliferate its freezing consequence if it freezes a target—something that happens quite oft. Glacial Harvest is a tough sell due to its internal cooldown, just information technology's your best alternative to Bleak Watcher (Frostpulse is ill-suited for endgame content). If you want to spam Bleak Watcher turrets instead, encounter our Dour Flame build at the finish of this guide. It'southward more tailored towards that type of play style.
Fragment | Description | Stat Alterations |
Fissures | Increases the impairment and size of the burst of Stasis when you destroy a Stasis crystal or defeat a frozen target. | Due north/A |
Shards | Shattering a Stasis crystal increases your grenade recharge rate for a short fourth dimension. Subsequent crystal detonations extend the elapsing of this buff up to 10 seconds. | +10 Resilience |
Rending | Kinetic weapons deal 50% more damage to Stasis crystals and frozen targets. | Northward/A |
Impetus | Instantly reload all of your weapons and gain +100 handling for v seconds upon striking an enemy with your charged melee ability. | N/A |
Whisper of Fissures and Shards are no-brainers hither. Fissures volition brand Headstone crystals deal significantly more than damage over a wider area, and Shards will assistance recharge your Glacier Greandes quickly. Rending might seem similar an odd option, but this allows Eyasluna and other Kinetic weapons to break Stasis crystals with a single bullet. Without it, this build feels much clunkier. The fourth Fragment is up to you, although we recommend Impetus to car-reload your weapons. Hunger and Hedrons are skillful options equally well.
Armor Stats

Resilience | Dump |
Recovery | 90+ |
Bailiwick | 70+ |

Focus on Recovery and Field of study, investing in Forcefulness with your leftover points. If you're running Whisper of Hedrons, try to aim for 50 in Mobility, Resilience, and Recovery.

For your boots, Absolution is squeamish for getting your abilities back faster, although whatever mod works for that slot.
Yous accept quite a few options for your Bond. Double Outreach is dainty for getting Penumbral Blast dorsum quickly. If y'all're playing any content with Champions, we highly recommend using Resonance Siphon and Thermoclastic Strike. A unmarried Overload stun will give yous a ton of energy for all of your abilities. Of grade, you can always run Particle Deconstruction if you desire to increment the DPS of Reed's Regret or whatever Special Fusion Burglarize yous might exist running.
Armor Mods (Combat Style)
Helmet | Taking Charge / Font of Wisdom |
Gloves | Elemental Shards |

Boots | Font of Might |
Bond | Elemental Accuse |
Glacial Harvest will periodically create Stasis shards when you freeze opponents, pairing perfectly with Elemental Shards. Nosotros then gain x2 Charged with Light by using Elemental Charge, allowing u.s. to use Charged with Light mods. We'll be using Heavy Handed to gain fifty% melee energy whenever Penumbral Boom is used. When paired with Melee Kickstart and the shards you'll be grabbing, Penumbral Blast shouldn't have a long cooldown.
For the other two slots, Font of Might is a must. This grants a 25% damage buff to all Stasis weapons that stacks with Pall of Boxing Harmony, drastically improving the damage of weapons like Eyasluna and Reed's Regret. The final slot is upward to yous. Taking Accuse gives you a second avenue of gaining Charged with Light. Font of Wisdom sets your Intellect to 100 for thirty seconds upon grabbing a Stasis shard, making your Super charge much faster. You lot can fifty-fifty utilise Elemental Time Dilation to extend the duration of Font of Might to offset the inconsistency of Glacial Harvest. Play around with your mod setup to see what fits your playstyle the all-time.

IKELOS and Seventh Seraph weapons allow y'all to spawn Warmind Cells after a few kills. If you own Wrath of Rasputin, consider using Ticcu's Divination, Xenophage, or Sunshot.
Lumina besides pairs nicely with this build, healing allies and granting everyone a massive 35% damage buff. This gun procs Benevolent Dawn, giving you incredible power regeneration rates whenever you lot use Lumina to heal an marry.

Why Play This Build?
Raw firepower isn't always the answer. Sometimes, all you lot need is a footling bit of crowd control to plough the tide. That'southward what this build focuses on. By using the Bleak Watcher Attribute, Shadebinders can turn their grenades into Stasis turrets that reliably freeze enemies. This build focuses on fast grenade cooldowns so you can spawn equally many of these turrets equally possible, making this an fantabulous build for Grandmaster Nightfalls, Master Lost Sectors, and raids.
Bungie might take nerfed the cooldown rates of Bleak Watcher in the 30th Anniversary Pack, but there are yet a few ways to enhance the cooldown of your turrets. Then long every bit you're willing to farm for a expert Stasis weapon, this build is still more than viable for all Destiny content, including raids and GM Nightfalls.
Essentials
Subclass | Shadebinder (Stasis) |
Exotic | Verity'due south Brow OR Centre of Some other World |
Weapon | Headstone Legendaries OR Le Monarque |
Shadebiner is required to spawn Bleak Watcher turrets. Nosotros'll cover the Aspects and Fragments in the side by side section.
Verity's Forehead is excellent for content where you aren't significantly underleveled. Killing enemies with your Energy weapon will significantly speed up your grenade cooldown. If you lot're attempting Grandmaster Nightfalls, consider using Eye of Some other Globe instead. It lowers all ability cooldowns passively, making information technology a solid pick if you tin't maintain Verity's Brow's perk.
Anything with Headstone is absurdly strong on this build, allowing you to proc Whisper of Shards and Verity's Brow. Eyasluna is a notable Stasis weapon, capable of rolling with Headstone and Unrelenting simultaneously. It also assists with AoE add-clear. Le Monarque is a good long-range option for rapidly shattering a group of enemies.
Aspects And Fragments
These Aspects allow you to overcharge your grenade, creating Bleak Watcher turrets. Enemies frozen by the turrets will freeze nearby targets every bit well.
